Tuberculosis is an ancient disease. It continues to be the leading infectious disease causing mortality worldwide. Detection and diagnosis of TB remain challenging and various artificial intelligence-based algorithms have been implemented to address this challenge. We aimed to assess current knowledge about the performance of artificial intelligence-based algorithms for the detection of TB.
