Google Analytic has gained its popularity in the fields of online media due to its ability to provide description of the audience behavior. Since the adoption of the tool by online media in Indonesia not too long after its launching, the characteristic of the media works has transformed in many ways. This study aims to find its influence on the interpretation of elements of journalisms. Through a qualitative analysis and case study methodology of most popular stories in Kompas.com and Antaranews.com, this study seeks to understand the elements of journalism from the perspective of the editors and journalists.
