A CONTACTLESS REAL-TIME PULSE RATE MONITORING FOR SMART WORKPLACE APPLICATION

Heart is the one most crucial organ for livings, some effort to take care this organ is a
must. However, with our current society lifestyle, it will be difficult to see medical expert to
check our health condition. Especially for workplace area where stress from the work can
increase the risk of heart diseases and the employee has no time to go to doctor. In this
research we propose a solution for heart rate measurement for smart workplace application.
We use a contactless method based on remote photopletysmography by using webcam. Our
desired system hopefully is able to outperformed state-of-the-art heart rate measurement from
conventional and existing method. By knowing the heart condition in continuity will decrease
the risk of heart diseases. Our research will follow the ethic of human right and subject
consent, furthermore we will ask the help of medical expert to validate our system work.
Finally, this system has promises future works including Internet of Things (IoT), smart
campus, smart city, and many more.
